On Saturday, January 11th, I hosted a Wet Felting Workshop, and it was a wonderful way to spend the morning. Four ladies joined me to learn the art of wet felting, and it was a pleasure to guide them as they created their own unique pieces of art.

Wet felting is a hands-on process that combines wool, soap, and water to create textured, layered artwork. The group quickly got the hang of the techniques, and it was fascinating to watch their ideas take shape. Each person brought a different perspective, and by the end of the session, the results were impressive—a collection of beautiful and personal pieces.

Throughout the workshop, we worked in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, sharing stories and enjoying the process. There’s something special about working with your hands in a group setting—it makes for a great mix of focus and connection.

The finished pictures were stunning, each reflecting the maker’s creativity and style. It’s always exciting to see how the same materials and techniques can lead to such varied outcomes.

Thank you for joining me today ladies; your enthusiasm made the workshop a real success. If you’re curious about wet felting or want to try it out for yourself, keep an eye out for upcoming workshops—I’d love to have you join!
