On the 23rd of February, Feather Felts welcomed five lovely ladies to our corner of Hunmanby for an afternoon of needle felting fun. Armed with wool, needles, and plenty of Yorkshire tea, we got busy with the delightful journey of creating our very own Grey Hares.

A Warm Welcome and Creative Beginnings

From the get-go, everyone got on really well, a testament to the warm and friendly nature of our wonderful group. As the needles began to gently poke and shape the wool, the magic of needle felting started to take form. There's something very satisfying and therapeutic about watching a simple bundle of wool slowly transform into a hare, complete with character and personality.

Tea, Cake, and Crafting Camaraderie

Of course, no Feather Felts workshop would be complete without a good brew and a slice of cake. It was one of the ladies birthdays treat so her daughter Lucy brought along a delicious carrot cake for us all to share.

As the afternoon rolled on, we took moments to relax, share stories, and admire each other's progress. There's a special kind of camaraderie that forms when crafting together, and Sunday was no exception.

A Proud Moment for All

By the end of the session, each lady proudly left with a finished Grey Hare, a unique creation that was bursting with charm. It’s always wonderful to see the smiles on faces as they hold up their finished models, each one a little masterpiece in its own right.

Thank You and Upcoming Workshops

A big thank you to all who joined us! I truly hope you enjoyed your time as much as I did – your hares were absolutely fabulous!
